M. Sharon Jeannotte designs an online course for Athabasca University entitled “Cultural Policy in Canada” (Communication Studies (CMNS) 401).

M. Sharon Jeannotte is elected as Co-Chair of the Ottawa Culture Research Group, established by the City of Ottawa with participation from various levels of government and the Ottawa Cultural Alliance, to work together to develop a set of local cultural indicators.

A special double issue of the journal Culture and Local Governance on “Cultural Mapping in Planning and Development Contexts” is published, co-edited by Nancy Duxbury of the University of Coimbra and M. Sharon Jeannotte of the Centre on Governance, University of Ottawa.

M. Sharon Jeannotte and Alain Pineau release the fourth edition of a joint publication in which the Centre on Governance and Canadian Conference of the Arts analyze the impact of provincial and territorial budgets on the cultural sector. The 2016 edition is entitled In Search of the Creative Economy: Analyses of the Provincial and Territorial 2015-2016 Budgets from the Perspective of Arts, Culture and Heritage.
